Reviews:

I was very pleased with how clever and varied the short stories were. Many different genres were employed. The list of new words and phrases was helpful at the bottom of each page.

I love this book!! But, I do not think this is a book for absolute beginners. I have been studying Turkish for a long time with long breaks in between. My biggest problem was that I never had a good book to read to help me deepen my studies. That’s how I learned English by reading books. Finally, I found a great book in Turkish.

Most of the stories themselves were too dark for my tastes. They were engaging for the most part, but with a depressing and negative view of human nature.

This is a fun and effective way to apply what I’ve been learning in textbooks about grammar, syntax, and verbs.
